Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Norwalk, Ohio

Norwalk is the seat of Huron County, in the historic Firelands region of north-central Ohio that Connecticut set aside for residents whose towns were burned during the Revolutionary War. West Main Street is lined with grand nineteenth-century homes that reflect that New England heritage. Summit Motorsports Park on the edge of town is a well-known drag racing venue, and the Norwalk Reservoirs and city parks give residents places to fish and walk. Lake Erie and Sandusky are a short drive north.

North-central Ohio sees cold, windy winters with lake-effect snow showers, freezing rain and frequent freeze-thaw cycles. Salt is used heavily on local roads. The area’s flat to gently rolling land and clay-rich soils tend to hold water, which shows up as damp slabs and moisture in basements. Historic homes near downtown often have older stone or block foundations, while newer subdivisions have attached garages. Coating systems with moisture-tolerant primers and salt-resistant topcoats suit both.
