Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Frankfort, Illinois

Frankfort is a Will County village southwest of Chicago with one of the most charming historic downtowns in the southern suburbs. The old Frankfort business district has shops, restaurants and Breidert Green, where the village hosts concerts and its well-known Frankfort Fall Festival. The Old Plank Road Trail passes right through town, and Hickory Creek and nearby forest preserves offer quiet green space.

Many Frankfort homes are larger single-family houses in newer subdivisions with two- and three-car attached garages and full basements. Northern Illinois winters bring snow, ice and road salt, and freeze–thaw cycles slowly wear away unsealed garage floors, driveways and walkways. Clay soils in the area can hold moisture under basement slabs.

Upgrades Frankfort Homeowners Choose

• Large attached garages finished with flake and polyaspartic for a clean, showroom look
• Finished basements with metallic or solid-color epoxy
• Patios, porches and walkways sealed to resist de-icers
• Downtown storefronts and restaurants needing durable, attractive floors

Homeowners here often care as much about appearance as durability, so ask contractors for samples, flake blends and color options. Make sure the system includes proper grinding and a topcoat rated for hot-tire pickup and salt.

Frankfort’s newer homes also tend to have slabs in good condition, which makes them ideal candidates for decorative systems. Many owners coat the garage soon after moving in, before oil stains and salt damage set in, and extend the same look to a basement workshop or mudroom.
