Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Novi, Michigan

Novi is a busy Oakland County suburb known for Twelve Oaks Mall and the Suburban Collection Showplace, one of the region’s largest convention and expo centers. Lakeshore Park on Walled Lake offers swimming and trails, and Novi’s neighborhoods, office parks and shopping districts have grown steadily over the years. Nearby Kensington Metropark and Proud Lake Recreation Area offer more lakes and outdoor recreation.

Suburban Garages and Basements

Most Novi homes have attached garages and basements, and both see their share of Michigan weather. Winter freeze–thaw cycles and road salt cause scaling and pitting in garage floors, and slush tracked in by vehicles stains bare concrete. Basements, especially those built on clay soils or near lakes and wetlands, can have moisture vapor coming through the slab. A contractor who tests moisture, grinds the floor and applies a suitable primer and coating can deliver a floor that lasts.

• Garages in subdivision homes
• Finished basements used as gyms, theaters and playrooms
• Office, retail and restaurant spaces
• Light industrial and showroom floors

Novi homeowners often want a garage floor that looks as finished as the rest of the house, and decorative flake or metallic epoxy systems can provide that showroom look while protecting the slab.

Novi has a couple of contractors listed. Review their services, compare coating systems and warranties, and request quotes from each before deciding.
