Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Cottage Grove, Oregon

Cottage Grove, south of Eugene in Lane County, calls itself the Covered Bridge Capital of Oregon, with a half dozen historic covered bridges in the area, including the Chambers Railroad Bridge right in town. The Row River Trail follows a former rail line past Dorena Lake, and Cottage Grove Lake lies just to the south. Movie fans know the town as a filming location for Buster Keaton’s silent classic “The General” and the parade scene in “Animal House.” The historic downtown has murals and local shops.

Cottage Grove sits at the southern end of the Willamette Valley, where the Coast Fork of the Willamette River runs through town. The rainy season is long, and slabs stay damp from fall through spring. Winters bring frost and occasional snow, and summers are warm and dry. Many homes are older, with basements, detached garages and workshops, and rural properties around town have barns and shops.

Common Projects in Cottage Grove

• Garages and workshops on homes in town and in the countryside
• Shops and barns for equipment, boats and RVs used on the nearby lakes
• Basements in older homes
• Restaurants and shops in the historic downtown

On older slabs, a good installer will grind, patch and test for moisture before applying an epoxy or polyaspartic system. For shops with heavy equipment, thicker coatings with broadcast textures add durability and traction. A sealed floor also keeps mud and lake water from staining the concrete.
