Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Moosic, Pennsylvania

Moosic is a borough in Lackawanna County, set between Scranton and Wilkes-Barre in northeastern Pennsylvania. It is home to PNC Field, where the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders play minor league baseball, and Montage Mountain’s ski slopes and summer water park rise just above town. The Lackawanna River flows nearby, and the region’s hills and anthracite mining history shape the landscape around the borough.
In recent years the area has also become a hub for warehouses and distribution centers, joining the older neighborhoods of single-family homes that have long defined Moosic. Residents enjoy easy access to both cities, the mountain and the valley’s many parks.
Northeast Pennsylvania Conditions
Winters in the Wyoming and Lackawanna valleys bring snow, ice and a steady supply of road salt, plus repeated freeze-thaw cycles that are tough on concrete. Hillside homes can deal with runoff and groundwater that seeps into basements. Many houses here are older, with slabs poured before vapor barriers were standard. Grinding, crack repair and moisture-tolerant primers set up a long-lasting epoxy or polyaspartic floor, while commercial spaces may need thicker, chemical-resistant systems.
