Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Myrtle Beach is the heart of the Grand Strand, with miles of beaches, a lively oceanfront boardwalk and the SkyWheel towering over the shore. Broadway at the Beach offers shopping, dining and attractions, Myrtle Beach State Park protects a stretch of maritime forest and pier, and dozens of golf courses surround the city. Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve, lies to the south at Murrells Inlet.

Beach Town Conditions

Salt air, high humidity and intense sun are constant here. Salt etches and corrodes bare concrete, UV fades and chalks non-UV-stable coatings, and humidity can push moisture vapor up through slabs. Hurricanes and tropical storms bring wind, heavy rain and flooding, so seamless, easy-to-clean floors are valuable in garages and ground floors. Sandy soils can shift, causing cracks.

• Pool decks and patios with cooler, slip-resistant surfaces
• Garages storing golf carts, bikes and beach gear
• Hotels, condos and vacation rentals
• Restaurants, bars and attractions

Hotels and vacation rentals need floors that handle sand, wet feet and heavy traffic, and light-colored, textured coatings work well around pools. Restaurants need seamless, slip-resistant floors that hold up to moisture and frequent cleaning.

Many homeowners and retirees choose flake systems with polyaspartic topcoats for garages, which resist UV, salt and humidity.
