Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Johnson City, Tennessee

Johnson City is the largest of the Tri-Cities in Northeast Tennessee and home to East Tennessee State University. Buffalo Mountain Park offers rugged trails right on the edge of the city, the Tweetsie Trail follows an old rail line toward Elizabethton, and the Tipton-Haynes State Historic Site preserves centuries of local history. Downtown Johnson City has a growing scene of breweries and restaurants, and the Cherokee National Forest and Appalachian Trail are close by.

Johnson City’s mountain valley setting brings cooler winters than much of Tennessee, with more snow, ice and freeze–thaw cycles, along with humid summers and frequent rain. Sloped lots and rocky soils send runoff toward foundations, and many homes have basements or lower-level garages that stay damp. Road treatments in winter bring salt and brine into garages.

What Johnson City Residents Coat

Moisture control and freeze–thaw resistance are the main goals for most projects in the Tri-Cities.

• Garages finished with salt-resistant, slip-resistant flake polyaspartic
• Basements on hillside lots, sealed with moisture-mitigating epoxy
• Breweries and restaurants downtown that need seamless, slip-resistant floors
• University, medical and commercial facilities that need durable, easy-to-clean surfaces

Outdoor surfaces, from patios to front steps, also benefit from sealing in this climate, since winter freezes can quickly cause scaling on unprotected concrete.
