Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Mendon, Vermont

Mendon is a mountain town in Rutland County, climbing east from the city of Rutland into the Green Mountains. It is home to Pico Mountain, a ski area with a long history in Vermont skiing, and the Appalachian Trail and Long Trail pass through the town on their way across the range. Forested slopes, brooks and small farms surround the community, and Killington’s slopes are just over the town line.

Mendon’s elevation brings long, cold winters with heavy snow, deep cold and frequent freeze–thaw cycles, and roads are treated with salt and sand. Spring mud season brings saturated ground and grit, and summers are mild and humid. Many homes are ski houses, older farmhouses or newer mountain homes, with garages, basements and mudrooms that take a beating from snow, salt and wet gear.

Mendon Coating Projects

Ski country living drives much of the work here, along with rural properties and seasonal homes.

• Garages finished with salt-resistant polyaspartic flake and traction aggregate
• Mudrooms, ski rooms and entryways that need durable, slip-resistant floors
• Basements in older farmhouses and mountain homes, sealed with moisture-mitigating epoxy
• Lodges, rentals and commercial spaces that need easy-to-clean surfaces

Fast-curing polyaspartic systems are popular because they can be installed in cooler weather and returned to service quickly, which helps in a town where the warm season is short. Vacation rental owners also appreciate floors that clean up easily between guests.
