Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Montgomery, Alabama

Montgomery, Alabama’s capital, sits on a bend of the Alabama River and holds a central place in American history. The State Capitol stands at the head of Dexter Avenue, where the Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church served as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s first pulpit. The Rosa Parks Museum, the Legacy Museum and the National Memorial for Peace and Justice draw visitors from around the world, and the Riverfront Park and Riverwalk Stadium, home of the Montgomery Biscuits, have revitalized downtown. Maxwell Air Force Base and a large Hyundai assembly plant are major employers.

Black Belt Soil and Southern Heat

Montgomery sits on the edge of the Black Belt, where dark, expansive clay soils swell dramatically when wet and shrink during dry spells. That movement is a common cause of cracked slabs, driveways and foundations. Summers are long, hot and humid, with frequent thunderstorms, and winters are mild. Moisture vapor and UV exposure are the main concerns for coatings.

• Garages in suburban neighborhoods in east Montgomery and Pike Road, coated with flake systems
• Patios, porches and pool decks that need cool, slip-resistant finishes
• Restaurant, bar and retail floors downtown and in the Alley entertainment district
• Automotive supplier, warehouse and military facility floors

Crack repair is often part of the job in Black Belt soils, and polyaspartic topcoats resist fading in the Alabama sun. Military families appreciate fast-curing systems during a move. Compare the Montgomery contractors on this page and request quotes.
