Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Tucson, Arizona

Tucson sits in a high desert basin ringed by mountains, with the Santa Catalinas rising to Mount Lemmon on the north side of the city. Saguaro National Park protects forests of giant cacti on both the east and west sides of town, Sabino Canyon offers trails and swimming holes, and Mission San Xavier del Bac, the “White Dove of the Desert,” stands south of the city. The University of Arizona, the Pima Air & Space Museum and a celebrated food scene make Tucson one of the most distinctive cities in the Southwest.

High Desert Heat and Monsoon Storms

Tucson’s summers are long and very hot, with intense UV year-round. The monsoon season is especially dramatic here, bringing towering thunderstorms, flash flooding in washes and heavy rain. Exposed concrete gets very hot in summer, coatings that are not UV-stable fade and chalk, and garage floors face hot-tire pickup. Caliche and expansive clay soils are common, and slabs can move and crack.

Good preparation and UV-stable systems are the keys to a lasting floor in Tucson.

• Garages in neighborhoods from the Catalina Foothills to the east side, finished with flake polyaspartic
• Pool decks, patios and courtyards with cool-to-the-touch, slip-resistant coatings
• Restaurants and breweries downtown and on Fourth Avenue that need slip-resistant floors
• Warehouse, aerospace and industrial floors that need chemical- and abrasion-resistant systems

Many older Tucson homes have carports and garages with worn or painted concrete that benefit from grinding and resurfacing.
