Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Tampa, Florida

Tampa wraps around Hillsborough Bay, and much of its personality lives along the water. The Tampa Riverwalk links Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, the Florida Aquarium and the Sparkman Wharf area downtown, while Bayshore Boulevard runs a long waterfront sidewalk past historic homes. Ybor City keeps its cigar-factory brick and Cuban heritage, Busch Gardens and ZooTampa draw families, and the University of Tampa’s minarets rise from the former Tampa Bay Hotel.

That bayfront setting brings heat, humidity and salt in equal measure. Summer storms roll in almost every afternoon, flood-prone streets near the bay see standing water, and many homes sit on slabs over sandy soil with a high water table. Moisture vapor pushing up through a garage floor is the usual culprit when bargain coatings bubble and lift, so testing and grinding before application matter here. Outside, the subtropical sun calls for UV-stable polyaspartic topcoats that won’t chalk or yellow.

• Pool decks and lanais with cooler, slip-resistant textured coatings
