Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Andover, Kansas

Andover sits in Butler County on the eastern edge of the Wichita metro, a growing suburb known for its schools, family neighborhoods and Andover Central Park, with its lake, walking paths and playgrounds. Head east and the land opens into the tallgrass of the Flint Hills, while El Dorado Lake and its state park are a short drive up the road. Wichita’s shopping, aviation employers and sports venues are just to the west.
Weather here swings hard. Summers are hot and windy, winters bring ice and occasional snow, and spring is storm season, with strong thunderstorms and tornadoes a real part of life in south-central Kansas. Concrete deals with freeze–thaw cycles, de-icing salt tracked in by vehicles, and clay soils that shift with rain and drought. Coatings with good flexibility and a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat tend to hold up better than bare concrete or thin paint-on products.
Where Andover Homeowners Use Coatings

Attached garages in newer subdivisions, finished with decorative flake
Basements and storm shelters that need a clean, moisture-tolerant surface
Detached shops and outbuildings on the town’s larger lots
Patios and pool decks with textured, slip-resistant finishes

Storm shelters and basements deserve special mention: they tend to stay cool and damp, so ask installers about moisture testing and primers before any coating goes down. For garages, discuss how the floor will handle hot tires in July and salty slush in January.
