Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Blackwood, New Jersey

Blackwood is an unincorporated community within Gloucester Township in Camden County, and it serves as the township’s commercial and civic center. Camden County College’s main campus is located here, and the township’s parks, including Veterans Memorial Park, offer sports fields and trails. Big Timber Creek runs along the area’s northern edge, and Philadelphia is a short drive away.

Blackwood’s housing includes older single-family homes, newer subdivisions and townhome communities, many with basements and attached garages. Shopping centers and businesses line the main corridors.

South Jersey Climate

Blackwood’s winters bring snow, ice and salted roads, and the brine that drips off cars into garages slowly eats away at bare concrete as temperatures cycle above and below freezing. Summers are hot and humid, and the area’s mix of sandy and clay soils can trap water in low spots, pushing moisture into basement slabs. A contractor should test moisture, fill cracks and choose systems suited to each space: salt-resistant coatings for garages, moisture-tolerant primers for basements and UV-stable topcoats outdoors.

With so many family homes in the area, garage and basement coatings are among the most popular projects.
