Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Toms River, New Jersey

Toms River is the county seat of Ocean County and one of the largest towns on the Jersey Shore. The township stretches from inland neighborhoods along the Toms River to the barrier island communities of Ortley Beach and part of the peninsula, and Island Beach State Park, Seaside Heights and the Barnegat Bay are all nearby. Cattus Island County Park offers trails through salt marshes and woods, and downtown Toms River has shops, restaurants and the historic Ocean County Courthouse. The township’s Little League team famously won the 1998 Little League World Series.

Toms River’s housing includes year-round single-family homes, shore cottages and newer subdivisions, many with attached garages and outdoor living areas.

Shore Weather and Concrete

Hurricane Sandy devastated Ortley Beach and other low-lying areas of Toms River in 2012, and flooding remains a concern. Salt air, high humidity and strong sun wear on outdoor concrete, while winters bring cold, freeze–thaw cycles and road salt. Coatings here should be moisture-tolerant, salt-resistant and UV-stable, installed over properly tested and repaired concrete.
