Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Greenville, South Carolina

Greenville’s downtown is built around Falls Park on the Reedy, where the curved Liberty Bridge looks out over a waterfall in the middle of the city. Main Street’s tree-lined sidewalks are packed with restaurants and shops, the Swamp Rabbit Trail connects downtown to Travelers Rest and Furman University, and Paris Mountain State Park offers lakes and trails just north of town. The Blue Ridge foothills and Table Rock are within easy reach.

Upstate Clay and Weather

Greenville’s red clay soils swell when wet and shrink when dry, which can crack slabs and driveways. Summers are hot and humid, with afternoon storms and moisture vapor rising through ground-level slabs. Winters are mild but bring occasional freezes and ice. Strong sun can yellow coatings that are not UV-stable.

• Garages in neighborhoods and suburbs
• Basements and crawlspace-adjacent areas in hillside homes
• Restaurants, breweries and shops downtown
• Manufacturing and distribution facilities

Downtown restaurants and breweries need seamless, slip-resistant floors that handle moisture and cleaning chemicals, and urethane cement is a popular choice. Manufacturing facilities in the region use heavy-duty epoxy and polished concrete.

Hillside homes may have basements or walkout lower levels, and a moisture test before coating helps choose the right primer.

Older mill villages around the city, now being renovated, also bring slabs with decades of wear that need grinding, patching and a fresh protective finish.

Greenville has a strong list of contractors. Compare their experience and systems, and request quotes from several before choosing.
