Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Piedmont, South Carolina

Piedmont is a small community on the Saluda River, straddling the line between Greenville and Anderson counties. It grew up as a textile mill village, and the river and its old mill site remain at the heart of town. Greenville and Anderson are each a short drive away, and Lake Hartwell lies farther west.

Upstate red clay soils swell and shrink with moisture, cracking slabs and driveways. Summers are hot and humid, and moisture vapor can rise through ground-level floors. Homes near the river may have higher groundwater. Winters bring occasional freezes, and strong sun fades non-UV-stable coatings.

Piedmont Projects

• Garages on older mill-village and newer homes
• Barns and shops on rural properties
• Patios and porches
• Small commercial and industrial floors

Older mill-village homes may have garages or outbuildings with worn concrete that needs repair before coating. Newer homes in the area often get flake systems with polyaspartic topcoats.

Rural properties around Piedmont often have barns and shops that benefit from chemical-resistant floors that handle fuel, oil and heavy equipment.

Patios and porches benefit from textured, slip-resistant coatings that handle summer storms.

Growth from Greenville has brought new subdivisions to the area, and many homeowners coat their garages soon after moving in.

River fog and damp mornings along the Saluda also keep bare concrete from drying out fully, another reason a sealed surface tends to outlast an untreated one.
