Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in College Station, Texas

College Station is Aggieland. Texas A&M University dominates the city, with Kyle Field roaring on fall Saturdays, the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum on the west side of campus, and Northgate’s restaurants and bars just across the street from the university. Wolf Pen Creek Park hosts concerts and festivals, Lick Creek Park offers wooded trails, and the city flows seamlessly into neighboring Bryan.

Brazos Valley soil and climate

The Brazos Valley has some of the most expansive clay soils in the state. When heavy rain soaks the ground, it swells; when summer drought hits, it shrinks and cracks. Slabs move with it, which is why so many local garages and patios show cracks. Summers are hot and humid, rain can come in heavy bursts, and short, sharp freezes occasionally arrive in winter. Moisture-tolerant primers, careful crack repair and UV-stable topcoats are the right response.

• Garages in family neighborhoods and new developments
• Game-day patios and outdoor entertaining areas
• Rental properties and student housing that need durable, easy-care floors
• Restaurants, retail and research or lab spaces that need cleanable, chemical-resistant surfaces

Landlords in a college town appreciate floors that survive tenant turnover, and coated concrete holds up far better than carpet or vinyl in garages, laundry rooms and utility spaces. Several contractors serving College Station are listed here, so compare a few quotes and ask how each one handles cracks on Brazos clay.
