Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Hewitt, Texas

Hewitt is a residential city just southwest of Waco in McLennan County, popular with families for its quiet neighborhoods and parks. Residents are minutes from Waco’s best-known attractions, including Magnolia Market at the Silos, Baylor University, Cameron Park’s trails above the Brazos and Bosque rivers, the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum, and Lake Waco for boating and fishing.

Blackland soil and Central Texas weather

The Waco area sits on Blackland Prairie clay, among the most expansive soils in Texas. After heavy rain it swells; during summer drought it shrinks and opens up wide cracks in the ground. Slabs move with it, and garage floors and patios crack over time. Central Texas summers are hot and sunny, spring storms can bring hail and heavy rain, and short, sharp winter freezes occasionally arrive. A floor that lasts here starts with diamond grinding and crack repair, then gets a flexible, UV-resistant topcoat that can tolerate temperature swings.

• Attached garages in family neighborhoods
• Covered patios and back porches
• Workshops, gyms and hobby spaces in the garage
• Small businesses and offices around town

Many Hewitt homes have garages that have quietly absorbed years of oil drips and tire marks, and grinding and coating gives them a clean slate that is easy to sweep and mop. If you also use the space for exercise, storage or projects, a bright, sealed floor makes it far more pleasant to spend time in.
