Epoxy Floor & Concrete Coating Contractors in Troy, Texas

Troy is a small Bell County city on the Blackland Prairie between Temple and Waco. It keeps a quiet, small-town character, with farmland stretching around newer neighborhoods and residents commuting to jobs in Temple, Belton and Waco. Belton Lake, the Temple medical district, and Waco’s attractions along the Brazos River are all within an easy drive.

Blackland clay and Central Texas weather

The dark Blackland soils around Troy are rich for farming but highly expansive. They swell with rain and shrink in drought, opening wide cracks in the ground and putting stress on slabs. Summers are hot and sunny, spring brings hail and severe storms, and winter occasionally brings a hard freeze. Diamond grinding, crack repair and a flexible, UV-stable topcoat are the best defense.

• Garages on homes in town and in newer subdivisions
• Farm shops and equipment buildings
• Covered patios and porches
• Small businesses and community buildings

Many properties around Troy combine a home with a shop or barn, and those working floors need chemical-resistant coatings that hold up to tractors, trucks and spilled fluids. Home garages, meanwhile, benefit from a flake floor that hides dust and resists oil stains. Because clay can reopen old cracks, ask any installer how they repair cracks before coating and what they do if one reappears. Contact the contractor listed for Troy for a written quote that spells out prep, materials and timeline.
